Students will explore the Diversity of Living Things, beginning with an Introduction to Biology, cell structure, and biological classification in their first year. As they progress, they will deepen their understanding of insects and flowering plants, emphasizing their roles in ecosystems. In Senior 2, students will study soil properties, erosion, and conservation, followed by nutrition in plants and animals and transport systems in organisms. Senior 3 focuses on respiration, gaseous exchange, excretion, and coordination in animals, highlighting nervous and hormonal control. They will also study locomotion, growth, and development in plants and animals. In Senior 4, students will learn about reproduction in plants and humans, as well as genetics, inheritance, and variation. Finally, they will explore ecology, including food chains, inter-species relationships, and the impact of human activity on the environment. By the end of the course, students will have a comprehensive understanding of biological systems and their interconnectedness.
